Meet Indie! She is a 4 year old Catahoula mix. Indie has been here at the rescue since she was a pup. All of her siblings were adopted long ago. . She is the sweetest dog you will every know as well as being very protective of her area and people. Indie is dog friendly and absolutely loves to run. Indie believes that she is a lap dog, although at 60lbs, she will need a big lap!! Indie would do great in a farm/ranch type environment. She has a loud commanding bark and is very quick to alert to anybody coming on the property. She is current on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Please contact waller_rescue@yahoo.com or call/text 832-541-4255 to request an adoption application.

About Waller Rescue Ranch

About Our Rescue Group...

Waller Rescue Ranch (WRR) is a 501c3 non-profit, volunteer based rescue organization that is dedicated to saving the lives of many stray and abandoned dogs and puppies in Waller County TX.

Our purpose is to place the homeless animals into loving and permanent homes. All representatives of WRR are volunteers. They receive no compensation for their hard work and solely do it for the love and compassion of animals.

All dogs and puppies that are currently available for adoption have been temperament tested and health checked. Dogs that 6 months and older, are spayed/neutered, on heartworm preventative, and also vaccinated. Puppies that are younger than 6 months of age will be vaccinated, but will require a spay/neuter contract if they are not currently spayed or neutered.

If you find a dog or puppy to adopt, we do ask for a small adoption donation to help us cover medical costs, such as vaccinations, heartworm preventative, spay/neuters, etc. This will help us to continue to help other stray and abandoned dogs in need. Your additional donations and assistance are greatly needed and very much appreciated!

Certain circumstances may require a home visit to determine whether the dog or puppy you are interested in is the best fit for your home.

Once your application has been approved and you have chosen the dog or puppy you wish to adopt, there will be an adoption contract to sign. A copy will be provided to you at the time of adoption as well as the dog’s medical records.

We do ask for a small adoption donation to help us cover medical costs, such as vaccinations, heartworm preventative, spay/neuters, etc. This will help us to continue to help other stray and abandoned dogs in need. Your additional donations and assistance are greatly needed and very much appreciated!

Every effort is made to handle your adoption as quickly and efficiently as possible. We do ask for your patience. Should you not hear from us in three to five days after the application was submitted, we encourage you to contact us by e-mail, waller_rescue@yahoo.com.
