Bella's Story...
Bella is a wonderful young lady who loves attention. She loves to be pet, and loves to climb to the top of cat towers. She loves windows and sun, and when you visit the BCC, she'll most likely be one of the first cats you see in the window, peering out at you. She's a sweet girl, who would make a great bed cuddler. Bella does well with other cats, but would do best in a calmer household, preferably without rambunctious kids or dogs. Older children, or calm dogs would be fine. Bella also has a game that she plays, in which you sneak up to her and she has her back to you as though she doesn't see you, and then at the last second she turns around really fast. She's a riot. And a really great girl.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a North Branford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Branford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in North Branford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Branford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Branford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Branford paves the way for another one to be saved.
