Spatz's Story...
Spatz is a young, big, regal guy who likes to hang out in his tree house and watch the action. He is aloof but working on his socialization skills and has come a long way toward being a real gentleman. He lives with 3 other cats in a shared room, and engages in play with gentle humans who understand that he is still working on his social skills. Spatz has a special character and has shown that he responds well to affection and patience. He would do well in a forever home with older children or adult(s) who will continue to help him evolve into a wonderful companion.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Branford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Branford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Branford paves the way for another one to be saved.
