Ruby's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Ruby's Story...
Ruby is a very exuberant, extremely affectionate (loves to give kisses and hugs), bouncy and popular little pup -- everyone loves Ruby :)

Ruby was dumped at the Downey Animal Shelter when her "family" said she was too expensive to feed. She was left emaciated and with a case of Demodectic Mange on a cold, cement floor with little chance of getting to see light outside shelter bars...until we saw her that is :) She seemed so sad and scared and confused, but now she is happy, always has a full belly, and being treated for the Demodectic Mange (non-contagious) which she will fully recover from.

Ruby would love a home where she can play, cuddle, sleep under the covers and be loved for the amazing pup she is!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby, a Los Angeles Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua breeders who help with Italian Greyhound/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
