My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Drop Dead Gorgeous doesn't even come close!! LITTLE JOHN is an incredibly handsome 2-3 year old APBT mix. His coloring is magnificent, LJ is a real head turner. This boy absolutely LOVES people. His foster Dad takes him all over the place with him and LJ is making friends and changing minds everywhere he goes. People who claim to hate Pit Bulls fall completely in love when faced with LJ's amazing charm and charisma. We would love to see LJ go to a home that would train him to be a Therapy Dog. As much as he loves people he has great potential doing therapy work but it's not a requirement. LJ does great with his 3 canine foster sisters. The big guy loves to play!! LJ would do fine in a home with a non-aggressive, dog friendly spayed female. LJ can be reative when another dog behaves aggressively towards him. Can you blame him?? He will be starting group Basic Training classes the first week in April at What a Great Dog in Prosper. If adopted before this his new family must be willing to enroll him in a Basic training class. This is one super special dog. We are all completely in love with him and want to find him a forever family who will love him as much as we do.
If you are interested in adopting LJ please email us at ruffnreadyrescue@yahoo.com. LJ is crate trained, house trained, up to date on vaccinations and neutered. The only thing LJ is missing is a family to call his own. If you're that family come meet this Superstar. Adoption fee is $150.00.
(All our dogs are living in private homes. We do not have a shelter/kennel. We ask you to fill out an application before meeting our guys so that we get to know you a bit before inviting you into our homes. All our dogs receive professional training both in group classes and one-on-one. We have a great deal of time and love invested in each and every one of these awesome dogs!!)
