My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here is your next family dog "Danny Boy" ! A happy go lucky medium sized sweetheart saved just in the nick of time from a SC shelter. He hitched a ride on an 18 wheeler all the way down to me. Initially very scared and shy, D.B. has warmed up quickly with love, freedom and good groceries. It also helps that I have two Aussie girls here that serve as terrific foster teachers.

We believe D.B. to be 8 mths. old. He sleeps in his crate very quietly each night and in just a short time has become a good citizen here for such a young boy. He has learned the joy of toys and playing ball. He is not a crazy high energy dog, he enjoys playing, but calms down beautifully to enjoy his inside time. He seldom barks! He still needs plenty of leash training work and I will be introducing him to how good it is to ride in the car.

He has absolutely NO desire to run off...he wants to stay right with his person! Though he is not a scared, clingy dog, simply a good companion. I have seen absolutely NO aggression towards people or other dogs. Just a sweet natured little country boy.

I don't believe he ever had his own person, nor had he lived in a house or had toys. He shows me what a sweet and grateful, eager to please little dog he is ! I say little....about 34 lbs. To me that is little!
