My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cinnamon, the miracle dog, is up for adoption!

If you're looking for a cute, sweet dog who gets along with everyone, Cinnamon's your boy. He's never met an animal or human (inclluding all children) he didn't like. And he's never met a person who didn't like him!

This amazing 45 pound pooch, will melt your heart with his innocent ways. He even loves wildlife. Pigeons, ducks and geese let him come within a foot or two because of his gentle nature. I feel that if a rabbit would come up, Cinnamon would give it a nose poke as if to say, "Hey, there. And just what are YOU?" Cinnamon has a magical way about him that's totally beyond our imagination.

Saved at the last minute from being euthanized at the county shelter, Cinnamon was one sick pup. We didn't know if he'd survive his first night at his foster home. He was so weak, he had to be carried outside to go to potty. He could barely lift his head to eat. But miracles happen! Now he's totally cured of his non-contagious mange, and his hair is growing back. Even though a virus left him with a tiny bit of an odd gait, he loves walks, hikes, jogging, running, nature, parks, visiting people, kids and animals. I feel he'll get along with any animal . . . birds, cats, reptiles, whatever you have.

The vet feels that he's just around three young years old. He passed his vet check up with flying colors and is neutered and has all his current vaccinations. He always goes potty outside if he can get outside. He needs doggie door training. He's crate trained. He's a complete quiet (not a barker) gentleman inside and outside, no chewing or digging. This super-sweet guy is ready to enjoy life at its fullest in a new forever home.
