Sadie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Sadie's Story...
What a beautiful, sweet sable 1 yr old girl. She has not been properly trained so we are working on that. She is resource guardy on lead, so an experienced GSD owner is a must. She had an ostectomy, ball of her femur removed from an injury, but she has healed up beautifully. She runs and plays and has gained lots of muscle tone in her legs now,. She is VERY smart and learned where the dog food is kept, only hours from arriving, She loves playing ball or tug. She is really a very loving dog, once she gets to know you. She should be the only female dog in the house, but she is getting better about being socialized and prefer no kids, since she doesn't do well with strangers coming into the house. No cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Hamilton German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Hamilton, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Hamilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
