My story

If Tigger had to choose an anthem he'd surely choose "I Will Survive". Tigger was dumped in a neighborhood in Arkansas where people used him for target practice with bebe guns and threw rocks at him. He would not even come to people at first but would lie down and roll over into submission begging to not be hurt. When called, he would crawl cautiously to you. Tigger has been lovingly fostered in a home that has given him the patience, nurturing and unconditional love that he so craved and he has turned into a 30-pound lap dog!!
His foster writes: "He only jumps in your lap if invited but once there, he will lay with you and kiss your hand or sleep there while you pet him. He LOVES to be near his people all the time and cannot get enough petting or give enough kisses!! He rarely barks and is submissive to other dogs but does love to play with them if accepted by them. He needs someone with a gentle tone and gentle hands; a stern "no" sometimes sends him scrambling for a place to hide. He loves kids but loud noises terrify him and he retreats to hiding under the table and trembling so he'd be best in a home with no small kids. You will not find a sweeter, quieter, more loving and appreciative friend than Tigger."
