Bruno's Story...
Hi! My name is Bruno and I'm a friendly, energetic pitbull mix. I'm currently being fostered with a longtime family friend who has four other dogs in her home (3 chihuahuas and another pitbull). I also do well with cats! I get along great with adults and children alike, but due to my somewhat high energy level would do best in a household with children 10-13 years or older. I am housetrained, up to date on vaccines and know basic commands (treats help), plus I have taken the PetSmart Training Course and have received my certificate of completion! I love to cuddle and go for long walks.

If you would like to meet me please feel free to contact Home at Last at 510-981-0890 or email at info@homeatlastrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruno, a Berkeley American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
