Sunshine's Story...
Sunshine is a 5 year old Sun Conure who is very friendly and affectionate. He just loves lots of attention! His favorite thing is hanging out with you -- whether you are watching TV or reading a book. He steps up well and likes to be scratched on the head. Like all birds, Sunshine can be a little loud at times, but, keeping him busy with lots of toys and foraging for treats is a great way to help him stay occupied and quieter. Sunshine is a bit of a seed junkie and so is learning to eat a better diet, including pellets, fresh vegetables, whole grains, and fresh fruit. Sunshine is a fantastic bird who will give a lot of love to his adopter!

About Our Rescue Group...
The Phoenix Landing Foundation (PL) is a non-profit all-volunteer organization. PL promotes and protects the welfare of parrots, especially those with an extensive lifespan. We provide for parrots of all types in need, and act as advocates for those without protection. Visit our website at http://www.phoenixlanding.org for more information. We also sponsor great educational seminars! All are welcome (please do not bring your birds or other pets). Most of PL's classes are free, although of course we always welcome donations.
