Tara is an absolutely beautiful Chiweenie (part Chihuahua, part Dachshund). She has the most gorgeous buttercream coat and when the sun hits her, she just glows. This little girl has it all- beauty, brains, and personality plus. She likes other small dogs and enjoys exploring, wrestling, zooming, and playing tug-o-war with them. Tara really loves toys- especially soft and fluffy ones! She has the funniest little habit of collecting all of the toys she can find and putting them in one little area and then getting in the middle and throwing them about. It is precious!
Tara loves to be held and cuddled and to snuggle up on the couch or the bed for a nap with you. She is a genuinely happy little dog and eats up any attention you're willing to give her, whether it's just looking at her and talking to her or petting her and picking her up. When she wants to be held, she will look up at you with her beautiful eyes so sweetly, you're bound to give in! She will also stand on her hind legs with her little front legs in the air and do a dance to get your attention. Her new foster mom has been teaching her some basic training commands and says she is a very quick learner!
All Tara wants in life is a family to love her that she can love in return. She is sweet, playful, and loving with everyone and will bond quickly with her people. She has even met and been very gentle with small children, though she would likely be more comfortable with kids 8+ due to her size. Tara is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations and heartworm preventative.
This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma City area.
