Webster's Story...
Webster arrived at the adoption center on Feb.26. He was abandoned and tried to find a new home himself and was turned away again. All this guy wants is to be loved and when you meet Webster you will surely fall in love. He is so well behaved and cuddly it's hard to believe someone wouldn't come looking for him. Webster is a very friendly dog. He doesn't jump up and knows basic commands (sit, shake, lay down) Webster is a very mature and affectionate guy that wants nothing more than a family that will love him forever. When this handsome boy is adopted he will be neutered, micrchipped, vaccinated, receive a city license and come with many extras! Webster is waiting very patiently for his new family to rescue him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Webster, a Cold Lake Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Cold Lake, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Cold Lake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cold Lake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cold Lake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cold Lake paves the way for another one to be saved.
