Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Christopher is a sweet, gentle little 7 year old man. Don't let his adulthood worry you, he is past the puppy stage and he can be playful and also just loves to hang out with his humans. He's a tiny little guy at just around 5 lbs. - the perfect size little Chihuahua.
Christopher came into our program because his previous owners had nowhere to live and asked us to take him and his housemate so that they wouldn't have to go to a shelter. It was supposed to be temporary, just a couple of weeks they said. But we never heard from them again. Christopher went through a period of depression at being abandoned - losing the only home he had ever known (through no fault of his own) was traumatic for him. He has come around nicely and really needs his own family to care for him and dote on him.
He loves to "sing" with you and he's adorable when he does it! He is housebroken and crate trained - but like all tiny dogs needs a bit of encouragement to go outside if the weather is bad! He loves to cuddle and sleep in bed with you under the covers (as do most Chihuahuas).
Christopher is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, HW negative, and on HW preventative.
This dog is being fostered in Dallas, Texas and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma City area.
This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $200 adoption donation requested.
