My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful little girl, Baby, was surrendered to Animal Control when her family was moving and could not take her along. Baby is 8 years young and as frisky and happy in life as she is in her pictures. She weighs whooping 9.7lbs and her gorgeous coat makes her look bigger than she is. Baby is very friendly, social and loving and she adores attention. She loves to snuggle and sit in people's laps. She also flips on her back to get tummy rubs. She is great with other dogs, big and small, as well as with kitties. Baby does not always like to be picked up by strangers (she is great with people she knows) so she should not go to a busy home where visiting kids will be picking her up all the time. Baby is looking forward to meeting her forever family.


It is our policy not to place our dogs into homes with young children since we don't have foster homes with young children to evaluate the dogs. The adoption begins with the adoption application: we do not have the manpower to respond to detailed inquiries before we receive the application. Our adoption procedures are described on the home page, please read them carefully. A donation of $275 is required at the time of adoption.
