I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Angel is a very sweet young adult siamese mix who was surrendered to the OKC Animal Shelter recently by her owners. They indicated that they thouught she had a urinary track infection but that didn't prove to be the case at all. After our PAWS vet examined her we found that she had some serious skin issues and was covered with flea dirt. Angel has been treated for her fleas and wormed (fleas often cause tape worms) and put on a sensitive skin food. Her coat has seen some dramatic improvements in just a few weeks, her eyes are bright and she has become the social butterfly we always knew was there. In just a short time Angel has had some dramatic improvement in her conditions and is now looking for a forever home where she will be kept inside and away from the fleas that bother her so much and given skin sensitive food to help her coat continue to improve. She is a very sweet girl with a wonderful personality. We don't know how she may be with kids since there aren't any in her foster home but she seems fine with other cats and small dogs. If your interested in a little Angel in your life, this little kitty might be the perfect one for you.
All PAWS-OK cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV prior to being made available for adoption. The adoption fee is $70 (cash only).
Some of our cats are available for adoption at the PetSmart on NW Expressway and Rockwell in OKC. Please check our website at pawsok.com and go to the "Adopt" tab to see a list of those currently available in the PetSmart Adoption Center.
The first step in adoption is to complete an Adoption Request form which we use to help us match you with a cat or kitten that best meets your desires, experience and home environment. You can request one at: firstname.lastname@example.org or pick one up at PetSmart. Thanks for adopting a rescued cat - they make the best pets!
