Penny Lane's Story...
"Penny Lane" is a 2 year old spayed female. She is a short-haired tortie and the SWEETEST girl! She is extremely affectionate, self-confident, and calm. We know she doesn't mind dogs and she lives with 3 other kitties and cohabitates well with them. She would do well either with other animals or as an only pet.

She tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, she is spayed, has been dewormed, treated with Frontline, and has been vaccinated for distemper and Rabies.

"Penny" uses a scratching post and a litter box on a regular basis. Because she is an adult, we ask that "Penny" go to a home where she won't be declawed.

She will go to her new home with her medical records and her adoption fee is just $35.

If you would like to meet "Penny" or if you have questions about her, please contact us. Thank you for considering giving this girl the loving home she deserves!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny Lane, a Madison Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Madison, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
