Bear's Story...
Bear is a Chow/Boarder Collie who is 2yrs old.

He is an owner surrender as the family could no longer take care of him. He is good with kids, dogs and cats-as he lives with one now that he plays with. He LOVES to play and wrestle and is also potty trained. He is a sweet sweet boy with every person and animal he meets. He isn't a barker but when he wants to play or get your attention for something he will talk to you.

Bear is fully vetted and needs to find his Fur-ever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bear, a Oak Lawn Border Collie/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Chow Chow for sale in Oak Lawn, or seeking a Border Collie/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Oak Lawn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Lawn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Lawn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Chow Chow breeders who help with Border Collie/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Lawn paves the way for another one to be saved.
