Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Moose is currently accepting applications from people interests in adopting him. He is 85lbs of pure awesomeness!
Moose wants you to know that he is going to be a little picky about who he chooses as his new family. He would prefer to live in a home without children or cats, even though he can get along with both. He is a big fan of buckwheat pancakes and he loves to watch Duck Dynasty while chewing on his favorite raw hide. He thinks it is funny!! He enjoys sleeping in the bed between his foster mom and dad and he is usually ready to go to bed around 8:30 pm. His fosters parents claim that while he is sleeping he snores and passes gas, but their claims have yet to be varified!! LOL
Moose made it to Safari Animal Rescue after one of their volunteers saved him from going on death row in another shelter. He is a mixed breed of possible coonhound/lab or maybe even Cumberland Spaniel, but without a DNA test, it's hard to tell. He is around 3 years old and is very smart. He can sit, go down, shake and he will roll over to get a belly rub. He suffers from some allergies and has to take allergies pills to keep from getting too itchy. He is so happy to see people that he doesn't do well in a wire crate because he has happy tail.
Moose needs a back yard to hang out in and he does well with other dogs. His foster home has 4 other dogs and 4 cats too, so he has a lot of company there. He is very loyal and gets attached to people he likes. He has been exposed to numerous dogs and people at his fosters home. Although he enjoys company he is not overly needy or pushy about getting affection and he can be left in the house with his foster sisters and brothers with no problem.
