Oreo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Oreo's Story...
Oreo is a Spaniel mix. His foster mom thinks Spaniel/Corgi mix. He is 2-4 years old. Oreo just got groomed and feels SOO soft. His foster mom especially like his big, soft, floppy ears. Oreo is doing well in his foster home. He likes all the people that have been in the home, and likes the foster’s little terrier 2 yr old dog. Oreo does not react to the cats in the home when he is on the leash, but barks at them when they walk near his crate. He would probably do better in a home without cats. Oreo is crate trained, and not sure about being house broken (has only been here for a few days).

If you are interested in meeting Oreo, come to adoptions. Oreo will be very happy if you come give him some extra petting (and you will enjoy his soft, newly groomed coat). Maybe you would find that he is a good fit to be in your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oreo, a Schaumburg Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Schaumburg, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Schaumburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schaumburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schaumburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schaumburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
