Smidgen in Austin's Story...
Smidgen is a very loving, smart and playful 3 yr old who was rescued from a bad situation and has come a long way. For the owner who is willing to be patient and earn her trust she proves to be adorable and special. As her foster Mom I had to earn her trust by proving to care for her and she came right around and feels safe, happy and secure now. I want her to find her forever home where she'll be forever loved!

No cats or kids.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Smidgen in Austin, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
