Coco's Story...
This chocolate and white spayed female dog is one year old and weighs 47 pounds. She has lived indoors with children and is current on vaccinations. Her family loves her and treats her well. However, the mom and children recently fled a bad marriage situation and had to find housing on short notice. They rented an apt. where the son would not have to change schools. Unfortunately, the complex bans Coco's breed, so the current owners are seeking to rehome their pet as soon as possible to avoid eviction. The current owner reports that Coco has not been aorund cats but has played well with other dogs and enjoys her children. Email mbeadle@wcpss.net or call 919-637-6726 to schedule visitaiton with Coco or to ask any questions about this dog. PLEASE NOTE: COCO IS LISTED SOLELY AS A COURTESY LISTING BY PETSAVER-NC RESCUE. THIS DOG IS NOT PART OF THE PETSAVER-NC FOSTER PROGRAM AND PETSAVER-NC ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR ANY ASPECT OF THE ADOPTION PROCESS OR FOR ANY OF THE INFORMATION REPORTED ABOUT THIS DOG. The owner of Coco seeks a family or responsible adult who will treat Coco well. She is not available as a guard dog or fighting dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Chapel Hill American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Chapel Hill, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Chapel Hill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chapel Hill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chapel Hill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chapel Hill paves the way for another one to be saved.
