Annie's Story...
Annie is an 8 week old lab/hound mix. The mix made for one very cute puppy! Annie LOVES to sit on your lap or be carried around - I keep telling her to enjoy it now because when she's full grown I'm guessing not many people want to carry around a 60lb + dog. Her foster mom is starting her socialization training and introducing her to lots of different dogs, people, sounds, anything that can help build her confidence to grow up to be a healthy, happy dog. Annie would do better in a home with a fenced yard because the hound nose could get her into trouble, so she would like a home that is going to keep her safe. Her potty training has started and she's doing extremely well. Any questions about Annie, please email leahmoss1000@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annie, a Howell Labrador Retriever/Bluetick Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Bluetick Coonhound for sale in Howell, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Bluetick Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Bluetick Coonhound breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Bluetick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
