Butch's Story...
You’ve heard the epic tale of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid…a story of loyalty, of friendship, of the search for something better. Well I may not be an outlaw, but my story is not that far off. Besides, I am way more handsome then Paul Newman. I too am loyal, I too am in need of a friend and I am definitely in search of a better life. A life where I will be loved, where I’ll get plenty of attention, playtime and training. You what I think I need? A family. If I have a family of my own I’d get all those things I’m searching for! See me and my bro Sundance had a family…but they didn’t realize that getting two puppies meant double the work and double to love. So we just weren’t getting what we needed…that’s where our epic tale, all about searching for a new life, began. So how about you help me bring this story to an end…with open arms and hearts ablaze? 8 months old-60lbs. My adoption fee is $220 and includes; microchip, neuter, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butch, a Portland Husky/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Husky/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Husky/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
