Steele's Info...

Steele's Story...
Steele is a very friendly and outgoing cat of approximately 5 to 7 years old. This handsome boy loves attention, and will follow volunteers and visitors around to get petted. He llikes to cuddle, and will sit on any available lap. He gets along well with other cats, but is also very people oriented. He is very adaptable and he adjusted quickly to the change in his environment when he was brought to the cat room. Steele would fit in well in any home.

To adopt Steele, please call (403) 671-8665 for an appointment, or visit her at our Cat Adoption Centre (6909 Farrell Rd SE) on Sunday afternoons between 2.00 and 4.00pm. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Steele, a Okotoks Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
