Rudy's Story...
Rudy was saved from a local animal shelter after he was picked up as a stray and no one came to reclaim him. Rudy and his siblings became urgent after they came down with an upper respiratory infection. Rescued Friends had a wonderful foster step up and he's now enjoying his second chance at life. Rudy is now completely better and is looking for his forever new home! Rudy is approximately 10-12 weeks old (as of 3/16). Rudy is the runt of the litter and is a litter lover. He just wants to sit in your lap and be held. He would do best in a home with a human around most of the time. He'd rather be in your lap than playing with the other puppies. Rudy's neuter has been scheduled, along with another round of puppy boosters and microchip (all included in the adoption fee). Also included in the adoption fee is; first set of puppy shots, bordetella vaccine, and started on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rudy, a Arlington Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
