BREED/AGE: 2 year old Chihuahua SH mix


SIZE: Buddy is currently 9 lbs and is close to his maximum weight as a Chihuahua.


ACTIVITY LEVEL: Buddy is an active dog. He likes going on walks and likes to play with other dogs. He has required a great deal of human interaction at times, however there are also times when he prefers to run and play on his own. We have not seen him play with toys, but he has been chewing on a rawhide occasionally..


MANNERS: Buddy is a puppy at heart. He loves spending time with our dog playing and running around. Buddy is 99% housebroken but has had an occasional accident in the house. We are working to get him on the same schedule as our other dog which is typically every 4-5 hours, but longer when left alone. Buddy is not familiar with any commands, but we continue to work with him on this.


FOSTER FAMILY NOTES: Buddy is an absolute pleasure to have in the house. He loves to be held and cuddle up to you. He enjoys having as much affection as you give him. He may have a bit of separation anxiety, and we are working on correcting that. He has always slept under the covers and loves to snuggle in close for a long nights sleep. If you have time to devote to loving a pet, then Buddy is the dog for you.
