Here's what the humans have to say about me:
S'mores is as sweet as her name suggests - and her colors are reminiscent of the right combo of marshmallow, (dark) chocolate, and graham crackers. But, she's not gooey at all.
S'mores was surrendered by her owners to a shelter that has waaaaayyyy too many small dogs. Her odds of standing out and finding a new home there were very low. You may think she was the lucky one to come into our rescue, but I would argue that we are the lucky ones. S'mores is very affectionate, entertaining, brilliant, and the best combo of what we believe is dachshund and Jack Russell. This little girl is about 1 year old, is spirited, but oh so loving! And smart??? You bet. She can run and play but when it's time to settle for a while, she quiets right down and prefers a nice cozy lap to sit on or lay by (though she can be a little selfish with it should another dog want to share).
S'mores truly loves to go on walks, and does very well on lead. She is great in her crate all night long without a peep out of her. She plays very well with other dogs, preferring those that are near her own size, and those that are not too dominant. She ignored our cat, who, in turn, ignored her.
Please email us for an application and to set up an appointment to meet S'mores.
