Papasan & Hops's Info...
| Species: | Chinchilla | Color: | Silver Or Gray | Age: | Adult |
| Sex: | Male | Hair: | Short |
Papasan was surrendered when his former owners discovered they were expecting a baby at the same time the new daddy has to be deployed for a year. The situation is much too overwhelming for the new mama to handle on her own. Papasan was surrendered with 4 other chinchillas, all housed separately. He has been through at least three homes and was originally used for breeding, so we were skeptical about his ability to live peacefully with another male.
Recently, we tried introducing Papasan to Hops, a young, single male who was desperate for a friend. The two get along very well! Hops is the dominant one, but is not aggressive. Papasan is a patient, gentle cagemate. Perfect for toning down Hop's young virility.
Adoption fee: $100 for the pair.
