Captain Jack's Story...
If you give me tummy rubs I will sing to you so that you know exactly how happy that makes me.

Like my name sake, I am a true explorer! I am usually on the move either following you around to make sure that I don’t miss anything – playing with one of my many toys or just exploring a previously undiscovered cabinet, closet or box.

I love other kitties especially my brother (Icarus) & sister (Sara). We’ve grown up together and I certainly wouldn’t mind if one of them came along to my new home.

I love people of all ages, including children to slightly older people that might want me as a lap cat.

So, if you’re looking for a well-mannered yet inquisitive boy, HERE I AM. (Birthday: 5/23/06)

If you would like to meet this SUPER SWEET boy please call Cathy at 661-273-9822 or email her at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Captain Jack, a Palmdale Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Palmdale, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Palmdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
