Icarus's Story...
This is Icarus – this handsome and super sweet boy is the product of D-I-V-O-R-C-E and he is in desperate need of a new “Forever” family.

He is a typical “Orangie” in that he’s got a GREAT outgoing personality - he’s very loving, loves to snuggle and he loves to be the center of attention whenever possible. He’s just an all-around GREAT CAT.

In order to be with you as much as possible he will even follow you around like a puppy so that he’s sure to be a part of whatever’s going on.

Icarus gets along great with other kitties (see Captain Jack and Sara), he likes nice dogs that don’t want to chase him and people of all ages including children who will want to be his best friends. (Birthday: 10/2002)

THIS CAT IS DECLAWED !

If you would like to meet this SUPER SWEET BOY please call Cathy at 661-273-9822 or email her at hosford@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Icarus, a Palmdale Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Palmdale, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Palmdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
