Jasper's Story...
Hi, my name is Jasper ! For a young kitty I have had quite a roller coaster life. You see, when my family moved away last year and left ten of my family members behind I was very afraid and felt very alone. Thankfully, my foster mom & my friends here at Forgotten Angels Cat Rescue came to the rescue.

They found me & my brother Reilly a wonderful home with a very loving Mom & Dad. My brother seemed to be Daddy’s favorite and I was a true Momma’s Boy. My mom didn’t mind that I could be a bit shy around new people or that I wasn’t a real lap cat. She loved that I would sit right beside her while she worked on the computer, read a book or curled up for a nap on the bed. We spent a lot of time together while Dad was on one of his business adventures.

Sadly, this past July my beloved Mom passed away. We were all very sad and heartbroken, especially Dad. He said that I reminded him of my mom and it made him even sadder so instead of us being together, he decided I needed to find a new home.

I’m doing better these days back in my foster home because some of my old friends are still there waiting too but I really hope that I find a new Mom & family soon. I desperately want the security of a family to call my own and I can’t wait to be someone’s little boy. (Birthday: February 2010)

If you would like to meet this VERY sweet boy please call Cathy at 661-273-9822 or email her at hosford@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasper, a Palmdale Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Palmdale, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Palmdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
