Gracie's Story...

Meet Gracie, a spayed female border collie mix. Gracie is the sister to Jamie, but their appearance is totally different and they most likely have different fathers. She appears to be crossed with a boxer or a boston terrier, as she has a thin, lean build, long legs, and when she plays, she uses her front paws. More energetic than her brother Jamie, she is a sweet, submissive girl who loves attention. She is quite energetic and would suit an active family who will take advantage of her athletic build and run with her, or give her plenty of opportunity for playtime.

Gracie is three months old and has been wormed and received two puppy vaccinations. She will be microchipped prior to placement. She is slightly submissive to older dogs, and would do well either as an only dog or in a multi-dog family. At this point, she shows no interest in cats.

Julie Poole Photography took these beautiful pictures of Gracie when she was playing amongst the daffodils.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Oliver Springs Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Oliver Springs, or seeking a Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Oliver Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oliver Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oliver Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oliver Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
