This boy is a handsome 4 1/2 year old purebred Dobie. Rudy is in need of a new home since his owner took him to be euthanized because he has a mild seizure disorder, which is easily treated with medication. Dr A, the wonderful vet that saw him, could not bring herself to put him down because he is so sweet and still so young. Thankfully his owner willingly surrendered Rudy to Dr. A. Since he has been with her he has not had one seizure and is on phenyl barbital. Rudy will be on this inexpensive medication for the rest of his life so he needs a family who does not mind giving him a pill every day. Its a small price to pay to give this boy the chance to live a long happy live and to, in return, receive unconditional love from this lovely, well trained and sweet dog.
Rudy is up to date on his vaccinations, and is neutered. He is good with other dogs and gentle with children.
