Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE CONTACT BOARDING@KAMPK9.NET
Honey Bear (HB) is a beautiful, glossy-coated, active young lady who is really a labrador retriever at heart and in personality. She is looking for a running/hiking companion or family to help her enjoy a real dog's life HB is about 1 year old and weighs about 55 lbs. She loves every person she meets and is great with dogs of all sizes, kids, and kitties too!
Honey Bear LOVES the water, loves to swim in the pond and splash around in the kiddie pool on a hot summer day.
Since she was a puppy, Honey Bear was the constant companion of a her person but unfortunately, she had be given up to the shelter when her person's life changed! She loves people is good with all sizes. She is a kinda big goofy puppy still, so is still learning where all her body parts are...
She was so sweet and good in the shelter, the folks there immediately lined up a foster to take her as soon as possible. HB has the hugest heart and most forgiving personality; she hasn't looked back and is enjoying living a more normal life in her foster home.
HB really enjoys playing with other dogs and loves to chase balls and dog toys. She is making progress on the "bring it back" part of the fetch game. She already knows her "sit" command and is crate-trained. She is an outgoing and enthusiastic young lady who would love a family so that you all could entertain each other!
PLEASE CONTACT BOARDING@KAMPK9.NET to learn more and to request an application for adoption. It is our goal to make a great match between your family and one of our wonderful dogs.
Adoption fees range from $200-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
