Honey Bunny Bear's Story...
PLEASE CONTACT BOARDING@KAMPK9.NET

Honey Bear (HB) is a beautiful, glossy-coated, active young lady who is really a labrador retriever at heart and in personality. She is looking for a running/hiking companion or family to help her enjoy a real dog's life HB is about 1 year old and weighs about 55 lbs. She loves every person she meets and is great with dogs of all sizes, kids, and kitties too!

Honey Bear LOVES the water, loves to swim in the pond and splash around in the kiddie pool on a hot summer day.

Since she was a puppy, Honey Bear was the constant companion of a her person but unfortunately, she had be given up to the shelter when her person's life changed! She loves people is good with all sizes. She is a kinda big goofy puppy still, so is still learning where all her body parts are...

She was so sweet and good in the shelter, the folks there immediately lined up a foster to take her as soon as possible. HB has the hugest heart and most forgiving personality; she hasn't looked back and is enjoying living a more normal life in her foster home.

HB really enjoys playing with other dogs and loves to chase balls and dog toys. She is making progress on the "bring it back" part of the fetch game. She already knows her "sit" command and is crate-trained. She is an outgoing and enthusiastic young lady who would love a family so that you all could entertain each other!

PLEASE CONTACT BOARDING@KAMPK9.NET to learn more and to request an application for adoption. It is our goal to make a great match between your family and one of our wonderful dogs.

Adoption fees range from $200-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue.
