My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bugs, Bunny & Peeps are puppies who are approx 8 weeks old (March 21). Their daddy looked to be a purebred dapple dachshund but their mom was a white, fluffy long haired (or wirehaired) dachshund (she could also be mixed with terrier). When they first came in to rescue they were covered in so many fleas that their gums were pale. A bubble bath along with Skin-so-Soft took care of the fleas and now their gums are pink and healthy. All three of these little kids should weigh approx 10-11 lbs as adults.

BUGS - He is the only male and weighs 3.10 lbs. He has the short dabble coat and loves to give sweet little kisses.

BUNNY - She is the smallest of the three and weighs 3.4 lbs. With her long, white/dapple coat she looks bigger than her brother. Bunny has blue eyes.

PEEPS - She is the big sister of the trio weighing 3.14 lbs. Peeps is white with patches of dappling on her coat. She is very active and the "leader" of their pack. Peeps is a bouncy, happy little girl. She also has two blue eyes which is common when dapples are bred. Many times the breeding of dapples will cause eye problems. We thought Peeps may be blind when we first took her in as one eye is much smaller than the other. The vet could not say for sure at this point but thinks she can see out of that eye. All I know is when I go to their ex-pen Peeps is the first one up and running to me. She follows my movements and appears to watch the other dogs when they come near. She is a love bug who loves attention.

*** PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE ARE PUPPIES. THEY WILL POOP AND PEE IN YOUR HOME UNTIL TRAINED. THEY WILL CHEW AND GET IN TO THINGS THAT THEY SHOULDN'T WITHOUT SUPERVISION. THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN PUPPY KISSES BUT PUPPIES ARE A LOT OF WORK AND TAKE A LOT OF TIME AND TRAINING. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS BEFORE APPLYING.
