Mya's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Mya's Story...
Mya is a mellow, smooth coat, half-mask wet mouth, female petite Saint Bernard that was found by a good samaritan, all alone in a brussel sprout field in Central California in early March. Her owner was actively sought, but was not found so she is now up for adoption. She is a sweet girl, approximately 2 to 3 years old that weighs approximately 90 poundsl. She is a little shy when first meeting other dogs and people, but warms up quickly. She initiates play with small dogs and gets coaxed into playing with large dogs. She loves children the most and would be a great addition to a family with kids. She also loves to take baths! She is the easiest dog you will ever bathe as she crawls right into the bathtub and enjoys every minute of it! If you can deal with drool, she's a wonderful dog that deserves a family who will love and accept her just the way she is. If you are interested in adopting Mya, please download and fill out an adoption application which can be found on our web site at www.sunnysaints.org, submit it and you will be contacted within 24 hours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mya, a Bellflower St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
