Guinevere's Story...
If my beautiful blue eyes don't catch your attention, my sweet disposition will. I just love attention. I'm a little shy around new cats but, if they are gentle, I can learn to live with them just fine. Being a lady with some royal blood in my veins (probably Siamese) I deserve a quiet home where I will be treated like the queen that I am. Since I love pretty near everyone, I could get along just fine with children as long as they are quiet and respect my rights. Have a spot in your home for a queen? Come meet me. Guinevere came to A.D.O.P.T. in March 2012 from Chicago Animal Control. She was born around March of 2009.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Guinevere, a Naperville Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
