Spring's Story...
Hi my name is Spring. I am a 1 year old female cat. I have been spayed and have received my first feline leukemia booster and feline deistemper, calici, and feline herpes virus vaccine. I have also been vaccinated for rabies. Once adopted I will be tested for feline leukemia, feline aids, and heartworms. My adoption fee is $225. This fee helps pay for my transportation to my new home and my medical bills. If you would like me to be microchipped, that can be done for an additional $40.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spring, a Foster Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Foster, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
