Marline's Story...
Hi my name is Marline. I am a year and a half year old male cat. You know what they say about orange cats they say orange cats are the friendliest best cats EVER and I am that cat. I have been fixed and have received my feline leukemia booster and feline deistemper, calici, and feline herpes virus vaccine. I have also been vaccinated for rabies. Once adopted I will be tested for feline leukemia, feline aids, and heartworms. My adoption fee is $225. This fee helps pay for my transportation to my new home and my medical bills. If you would like me to be microchipped, that can be done for an additional $45.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marline, a Foster American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Foster, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
