My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Henry was rescued from a high kill shelter in Maysville, KY. He howled and howled when he was in the shelter. Once we got him out he hasn't made a peep. We are guessing he was used as a hunting dog as so many hounds are in this area, and when the person that had him was done with him, they just dumped him in that awful shelter.

Henry is such a gentle soul. He loves other dogs. His foster family has 5 children and he is loving all the positive attention. His foster mom says that he is wonderful and will make a great companion. Henry loves to play in their big fenced in yard and loves exploring smells...a true hound. He loves sleeping on his big doggie bed, and is a very mellow dog.

Henry loves to go for walks and does great on a lead. If you would like to meet an amazing dog, please contact us and we will set up a meet and greet between Henry and your family. He is truly a wonderful dog.
