Peaches's Story...

OK, yes I know that Peaches is kinda a girls name and I'm a boy...but that doesn't hold me back!  I'm all boy..and a big one at that!  I was originally adopted from here as a kitten and brought back when my human child grew up and moved away, then the man that lived in the home didn't want me anymore and returned me.  He never liked me anyways and sometimes he kicked me!  That makes me somewhat nervous around peoples feet and shoes, and therefore I shouldn't go into a home that has small children in it.  Other than that I am a good boy, I like petting and LOVE cat treats!  I also like human food and will beg to share yours!  I used to love sitting in the sun by a window and watching the birds and would love to do that again at your house.  If you have a quiet house and will give me some time to adjust...please come and get me...I need your love!  Thanks :) ALSO right now through December 1st I am only $10 in honor of Pet Angel's 10 year anniversary!!!! Come in and celebrate with us by taking me home! You can't afford not to adopt me!

All adoptions come with a complementary 4 lb bag of cat food, and a free month of pet insurance! Please consider sponsoring a cat or kitten. Adoption fees don't cover all their needs or the care they receive. Your tax deductable donation helps to keep our rescue running!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Frankenmuth Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Frankenmuth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Frankenmuth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frankenmuth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frankenmuth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frankenmuth paves the way for another one to be saved.
