Lacey's Story...
Lacey is a beautiful girl with her unique markings and big brown eyes. She loves playing with her toys almost as much as playing with her brother Logan. These sweet puppies are catching on to things quickly. Housetraining is going really well and they know that going outside means potty time. Both are sleeping though the night already!

My name is Lacey and I’m a great puppy looking for a great home. I hope my new family will spend time teaching me lots fun things and take me to classes where I can play with other pups and we can all learn together. I’m just a little shy at first but I get over that pretty fast and in no time at all, I’m climbing onto your lap and giving lots of puppy kisses. If you think I might be the right puppy for your family, fill out an application and maybe we can meet up!

If you would like to adopt Lacey, please visit http://www.poundrescue.com/adoptions/adoption-process to learn about our adoption process & fees or to fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey, a Okotoks German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie for sale in Okotoks, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie puppy from a breeder in Okotoks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Okotoks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Okotoks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Okotoks paves the way for another one to be saved.
