Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hope was found wondering the Delta Medical Center on Knight Arnold Rd . She was emaciated and had bite wounds all over her. She had just given birth to puppies and would have died. It was right before Christmas and the temperatures were very low. I was at work and it was the 1st Pit Bull I have ever been in contact with. I was scared of what she might do, but even more scared of her dying. All this fear about a dog just because of the media hype. So, I said to myself " Lord if you will let me I will try." And she looked up at me with those big eyes of Hope and that is how she got her name. I took her inside and dropped a honey bun on the floor for her to eat it was gone in one smack. I kept her in the backroom until I got off work. We did not have any problems as a matter of fact. Hope was used as a fighting dog she had old scars and new ones. She was also used for breeding. She is a high energy dog and loves to grab you to go play with her. Hope is good with some dogs mostly males. Hope is starved for some full time attention. She makes a great house dog. One time on vacation, we had a double room with an empty bed. She pulled the covers down over the pillows and slept right on them. She was such a joy to have as a travel companion. If you are an experienced animal owner or have owned a Pit before then Hope is the dog for you. She is obedience trained and can jump through hoops.
