BERNIE's Story...
Bernie is about a 3 year old male Saint Bernard available for adoption with Arizona Saint Bernard Rescue to the right family. Eager to please, loving, affectionate, he is in need of an experienced large dog owner to complete his training and progress Bernie to the best Saint ever. Bernie passed our in-house cat test, is getting along in play sessions with other dogs, and is a quick learner. Will... require bullet-proof high fencing, reinforced gates with anti-dig fortification - Bernie is a digger and escape artist. Bernie has had a very questionable start in life and looking for a consistent loving forever home. Are you that home? Are you that family that could make the difference in his life? Complete an online application and come meet Bernie - you will fall in love!! Application available at: http://saintrescue.org/adoption_application.htm

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BERNIE, a Glendale St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Glendale, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Glendale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glendale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glendale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glendale paves the way for another one to be saved.
