My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MOOSE is a 20 month old sable neutered male who is micro chipped, heartworm negative and updated on all vaccines.
This is an update from Moose's foster mom--

Moose is a gorgeous and sweet young man with a strong desire to please his humans. He has good house manners and loves to cuddle and give kisses. He enjoys playing with his foster sisters and is safe with them despite being three times their size. His favorite game is anything with a ball to chase or chew, although don't worry about your shoes because he seems to know which things are "dog toys" and he sticks to them. Moose loves to be with his family and would do best with another dog to keep him company while his people are at work. He is still learning how to control his excitement around new things/people, so it is important to give him clear and firm boundaries/instructions. Introductions to new people should be very controlled. He has true German Shepherd temperament of being loyal and protective. Moose loves to work for you, so obedience is a great way to bond with him. Although he's a big boy he is easy to walk on leash, and he knows all basic commands including some hand signals. He knows some fun tricks too and seems to enjoy learning new things. (You can really see his wheels turning as he tries to figure out how to make you happy!) This boy has it all: brains, looks, and a great personality! Moose really is a delightful boy and would make a great addition to any family.

MOOSE UPDATE--- Moose has continual bouts of pano which is similar to growing pains in kids. With time he will outgrow this problem and should make someone a wonderful working companion. We are still working on his meeting strangers.
