My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Liam is a 130# male Euro Great Dane. He is a playful 3.5 year old that does not know his size or his strength and should be watched around younger kids for that reason. He currently lives with a golden mix and two cats but cannot be trusted with the cats alone. He plays a bit rough for our 55# golden and may do better with a larger dog but as with any dog, he needs a slow introduction as he is leery of new fur babies. He is also protective (in a good way) and can also be leery of new people until you can assure him that those people are ok. He loves to be by people especially his parents and will follow you everywhere. He needs to build his confidence and maybe that will come in time. He needs you present when he goes outside and when he goes potty. He does not like to be left alone. He walks ok on a leash but caution should be taken especially if he sees another animal as he might take you for a ride as he is very strong. He rides great in the car and knows basic commands. He would rather sleep on your bed than his (although he’s only allowed on his dog bed) and is crated when left alone in the house. His future adopter should know that he slobbers ALOT and you have to be comfortable wiping it up constantly-furniture, carpet, your clothes, the doors, him and anything that is shorter than him.... BUT he is an absolute sweet soul who just wants to be a part of a loving family. Liam also eats ALOT. He is fed a grain free food and eats 5-6 cups a day which can add up over time. Liam loves his toys and could use a new collar and leash from his new family (he broke thru his but came back when called). Liam just looks forward to meeting his new forever family!
