Stella's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Stella's Story...
Stella was found abandoned in an apartment and was taken to the local animal control. While in their care, they realized that she had blown her cruciate and needed surgery. West Coast Rottweiler Rescue was asked if we could take her on and get her the surgery she needed. Everyone in the shelter loved this girl and we were thrilled to be able to help her.
Stella has now had her surgery and is well on her way to recovery and ready for her new home. This special girl would do well in a home as an only animal. She loves women but is not terribly fond of children. Because she is used to being on her own, she could easily live in an apartment.
WCRR will continue to help Stella in her recovery and will assist the new owners with her physical therapy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Stella, a Surrey Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Surrey, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Surrey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Surrey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Surrey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Surrey paves the way for another one to be saved.
