My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE CONTACT S_SMITH_POLO@YAHOO.COM AND BOARDING@KAMPK9.NET.

This stunning blue girl is Kaylie. She is around 20 months old and is a purebred Great Dane. Kaylie is fairly petite for a Dane and only weighs 95 pounds (she could definitely gain a few pounds). Kaylie has a moderate to high energy level and requires daily exercise.

She makes a fantastic jogging and hiking partner; she can hike 5 miles and still have energy to burn! She lives with a few other large breed dogs and loves to play with them. Kaylie also loves playing and running at the dog park. However, she can easily get over-stimulated and needs a time-out every so often to settle down before she is off and running again. Kaylie will need a very confident owner that will firmly teach her the rules of her household. She can be overly pushy and demanding for your affection and playtime.

Kaylie & her foster mom are currently working with a professional trainer and Kaylie is learning a lot; she is an incredibly intelligent girl and wants to please. We would prefer an experienced dog owner (hopefully has Dane experience too) for Kaylie that can continue with her training. If Kaylie receives enough daily exercise and mental stimulation she makes a wonderful couch potato!

Kaylie is crate and house trained, spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped.

PLEASE CONTACT PLEASE CONTACT S_SMITH_POLO@YAHOO.COM AND BOARDING@KAMPK9.NET to learn more and to request an application for adoption. It is our goal to make a great match between your family and one of our wonderful dogs.

Adoption fees range from $200-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us. We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!
