My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is estimated to be 8-10 years old. He was a found as a stray and was so badly matted that he needed his coat shaved in order for the vet to draw blood and examine him. He is a little shy but will open up to you quickly with positive attention. He weighs approximately 30 lbs but the vet said he'd do well if he put on about 2 more pounds. He will kiss you enthusiastically once he comes to trust you. A doggy bed is an absolute necessity for Charlie. He finds some security in his doggy bed or blanket. Charlie is neutered and up to date on all his shots. He was already debarked when we got him so his bark is quiet and soft. He is house broken with access to a secure yard. As you can see from his picture he is cuter than a button. Charlie has a little arthritis, however he enjoys short 10 minute walks. He will cuddle with you and enjoys lots of attention.

Charlie is in the Orange County area. To sponsor him, please make a donation on our website or email us for more information. To apply for adoption, please fill out our online application so the appropriate volunteer can get back to you. www.AdoptASheltie.com
